Question:

Which stall do you choose?

I always use the bigger, handicapped stall if it's open and the only other choice is the small one where you rub your leg on the toilet just to get out of the door. If the doors swing out, which usually they do not, I'll use the little one. Anyway, for the first time, I walk out, hit a woman's wheelchair with the door. She didn't seem mad or anything, I apologized, but felt like a super ******. I've thought about "what if", but it's never happened before.

  1. I use the first available stall closest to the wall and away from the urinals

  2. I always choose the stall that doesn't have pee all over the seat, i hate when women choose to squat and try to pee over the seat leaving a mess all over the place.

  3. I choose the cleanest stall that I can easily fit in and is adequately stocked.  I am obese.

I would feel bad, too, if I used a handicapped stall, only to find a disabled person waiting for the stall when I got out.  I would excuse myself or apologize, but would not feel badly about it if he/she was not upset or in distress.  Unlike a handicapped parking space, a handicapped toilet stall is not reserved for the exclusive use of disabled people.

  4. I almost always use the handicap stall simply because most regular stalls are likely to cause me to injure myself. Businesses have tried to cram as many stalls as they possibly can into a limited amount of space and still have a handicap stall. That's just not right. Any woman with any meat on her bones at all has a hard time maneuvering in the small stalls. It's pretty obvious a man designs and builds women's restrooms.........

  5. When I first came on answers, this question was here, and a girl said when she came out of the handicapped one, an elderly woman had wet herself waiting for the handicapped stall. I never used handicapped again.

  6. Well, scientists have found that generally, the stalls sharing only one wall with another one are quite a bit cleaner than the ones in the middle (I don't want to know how, I don't want to know why). But the handicapped stall is not specifically reserved for handicapped people, it's just easier for them to use. Don't feel bad, but if there is a handicapped person waiting in line, let them use it first.

  7. I always use the biggest stall because I am claustrophobic and I figure that is a type of handicap.  But on an interesting side note, the stalls closest to the door are always more germy!  So if the big one is not available or there is not one, I go to the farthest one from the door!
