Which state boasts the most rounds of golf played?

Argument that Michigan couldn't possibly in top 3 because of long winters..People really like their golf up there and play with abandon when weather permits..at least that' s what I think.

I am sure it's Florida with all of the retired folks down there.  

And yes, I would also bet that Michigan is no where near the top 5 even, due to weather.  I would think Texas, California, Arizona, and the Carolinas all rank ahead of Michigan.  There's probably a handful of other states that are ahead of it also.

Michigan has the most courses, but Florida boasts the most rounds easily.

I'd have to say South Carolina, because of Myrtle Beach.

You gotta think the top 3 are probably Florida, California, and Arizona in that order... Warm climates, lots of money and retired people, and prime destinations for snowbirds like yourself.
