different states have different amounts you could collect. Meaning the MAX amount the state allows per week . you may not be eligible for the max.. it depends on  you high quarter ..

Unemployment compensation is based on the amount your employer paid into the system for you and on how much you were making at the time you lost your job -- NOT on where you live. Moving won't allow you to make any more money.
