    Don't confuse these with the Sequoia Tree Sequoiadendron giganteum  which is the worlds largest tree because of the  immense width of the trunk. The redwood is a skinnier more slender version of the sequoia.

    You can find the Redwood more farther north than the Sequoia along the coast. While the Sequioa is refined to an area in the Sierra Nevada Mts.
