  2. Hi!  Top  3 parks in the US for Wildlife Viewing as rated by the Travel Channel:

    1)  Grand Teton, Wyoming

    2) Yellowstone, Wyoming/Montana

    3)  Denali, Alaska

I haven't been to Alaska, (yet) but I visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton every year and the wildlife viewing is FANTASTIC!!! I've seen bears (Black and Grizzlies) Elk, Moose, Mule Deer, Bison, Pronghorn, Bighorn Sheep, Bobcats, Coyotes, Red Foxes, Grey Foxes, WOLVES!!!, Trumpeter Swans, White Pelicans, Grebes, Mallards, Comorants, Bald Eagles, Golden Eagle, Red Tail Hawks, Ospreys, Great Blue Herons, Great White Egrets, and so many songbirds, small mammals, rodents, and fish I couldn't possibly list them all here!

I go either from Memorial Day to late June ( perfect for wildflowers and cuddly babies! ) or from Labor Day to late September. ( perfect for rutting bull Elk and Bison and gorgeous fall aspen trees and early snowfalls.)  Also, if you go at these times of the year, the weather's great and the kids are in school!  (Less traffic on park roads!)

Have fun on your travels and take TONS of pics!

  3. I used to live in N.W. Montana and not only is it beautiful, but you would have to try not to see wildlife. Always around our house would be moose with baby, elk. wolves, bear, foxes, eagles, mountain goats, mountain lions, and way more. And in the rivers, like the Kooteni river, the water is so clear you can see the big fish all the way to the bottom. Go see.

  4. Alaska.

  5. I am from MN and there are alot of wild animals living here. Examples of a few: Moose, Wolves, bears, deer

  6. My first guess would have been Alaska, but I found the following info, so it looks good toooo

Montana may well be the nation’s top state for viewing wildlife. Wildlife watchers can see large mammals such as grizzly bears, gray wolves, elk, bighorn sheep, antelope, and mountain goats. They can also view a wide range of mountain and prairie birds, from great gray owls to sage grouse, as well as small mammals such as pine martens, prairie dogs, and hoary marmots. What’s more, Montana’s abundant national parks, forests, wilderness areas, and wildlife refuges, as well as state wildlife management areas and parks, provide a dizzying number of places statewide to see wild critters.
