  1. most of them play for the state in which they were born in or grew up in

  2. it doesnt go by which nrl club they play for lol its wherever they played their first years senior football at thats why the origin players say their clubs where they come from before the match..

  3. players from the storm come from qld,nsw or new zealand. so they can play for their states or country.

  4. The players from the Storm at the moment are all from NSW, New Zealand or QLD, and as representative honours are based on where you are from originally, all of the current Storm crop are elligible.  This could become a more interesting question in years to come though, if the Storm do succeed in blooding a few local talents into the NRL, i'm guessing that they will play for whichever state is lucky enough to secure their services...

  5. You don't imagine they all originated in VIC do you? AFL territory? I would say most of them are imports from other states & countries, so, depending on whether they played their first game for NSW or QLD, they would play for that state, e.g. Billy Slater, QLD.

  6. wow... u dont know much about rugby league do you...? They play for a Melbourne side but are either from NSW or QLD or NZ or else where!! Majority of Storm's younger guys are from QLD...
