the state which i live in.. TAMILNADU.....its the best..i know a lot abt it than the other states...i have visited more places....

Jammu Kashmir.

The entire state is almost mountainous, broken by stretches of valley and dotted with mountain lakes. The state is studded with a number of hill stations, which are refreshing cool in summer. They offer to the tourists a leisurely or adventurous holiday amidst breath-taking scenery.

it could have been kashmir, but since that is now riddled with terrorism, my top pick would be kerala, with its gorgeous tropical setting and cashews for the picking to boot.

also, since there's a state in India referred to as UP (see the post a few posts below), if there was a state called DOWN, i would definitely be down with it.

(NOTE TO ASKER: asker, you have to give this one to me since i answered kerala and you live in kerala and kerala is pretty pretty. cool?)
