I have a friend that is looking to move to a state that doesn't get extremely hot in the summers.

she has a terrible skin condition so she doesn't wear the cloths you would normally wear in the Hot weather. she wears long pants and skirts in the Summer so she is looking for a cooler climate.

  1. North Dakota usually gets up to 80-90 in the summer.  But that is at the peak of the day.  Nights are really nice.  50-60 usually at night.  The only thing that suprises people is that North Dakota is ssssooooooo humid.  The humidity is horrible in the summer.  Usually about 90-100% humidity.

  2. Your probally looking at some of the northern states in the west

Like montana, Idaho, wyoming,  In wyoming there is a cold wind that alwalys blows, and in the winter time if you set foot outside, you get chilled to the bone.  Also, cool places surprisingly there are some spots in the south.  The north rim of the grand canyon is pretty cool

most of the year.  There are spots in the mountain cities in utah that are cool.  Than of course, you have alaska.

Perhaps some of the states in the midwest up north boardering canada might be cold enough as well.  But I've never been to those.

    Good Luck

  3. Calif, Oregon, Washington, by the coast.

  4. probably anywhere in the north - minnesota gets kind of hot in the summer...I think washington might be kind of cooler though...maybe she should move to alaska

  5. Seattle! I live in seattle, so I definitely know what the weather is like. Weather is very mild here...

she sounds like a seattlelite already!

Summers here, hottest is maybe, MAYBE 90, 91, which is very very very rare. summers are higher 70s to lower 80s. Don't have 80s too often though

I could tell you all the wonderful things about living in seattle,

but don't want to be bias =]
