  1. Maryland, Utah , Im not sure about Oregon, and Maine

  2. none

  3. When the Real I.D. is in place, all the States will require that proof, and there is little to no way you can travel in this country without that I.D.  Further, most states are requiring that base information of citizenship even when they don't apply all the Real I.D. processes.  Applying all the Real I.D. processes, however, are a matter of computer manipulations.

I understand the processes, and I will feel a whole lot better when that I.D. is in place for everyone.  It also means non-citizens cannot get another I.D. that suggests they are entitled to certain benefits and presumably, in this one instance, the Congress is watching out for the American People.

  4. Here is the thing. Various states have gotten extensions and are slowly implementing Real ID. It comes down to money.

The states have figured out that it will be cheaper in the long run to require proof of residency now rather than spend later. Some states are now checking social security numbers now so they can weed out illegals before they have to pay for verification of all documents later.

They also do not wish to explain to people why they have lost millions in federal funds. Nor explain to the average Joe why they can't board a plane because their state is not compliant.

There is no state anymore where you can get a license if you can't show legal presence.

  5. I read that New Mexico... but not sure !!! Check in the web sites..
