Which states pays the best salaries for doctors and surgeons and which pay the worst?

i would like a list in order from best paid states for docotrs and surgeons to least paid states.

i know different specialities pay different salaries but keeping all things constant, which states pay best salary and which is worst.

Physicians are not salaried.  To be salaried requires you to have an employer, and physicians are their own employers who simply have practicing agreements with whichever medical institution in which they wish to practice  A physician is responsible for collecting his or her own income, and so as a physician you are able to charge what you like, within Medical Standards and Practices.  So there is no scale of pay when it comes to physicians, except those of experience and fame.

I hope you don't think the various states pay doctors' salaries.

As a vague general rule, doctors in the southern states have the highest incomes, those in the northeast the lowest, but not by much, and the southern physicians may be working more hours to get that income.

Generally in relatively underserved regions (in the US), groups pay higher incomes than more densely populated regions or those which are regarded as "more desirable" by others.

Simply put, it's a matter of Supply vs. Demand.
