Which statistical test should i use when comparing growth between plants watered with tapwater & greywater ?

  1. You could use a paired t-test, pairing each day.  That is:  compare Day 1 tapwater with Day 1 greywater, Day 2 tapwater with Day 2 greywater, etc.

    Alternatively, if you just want to look at the final size, you could just take the final sizes of tapwater and greywater plants and compare those with a t-test.  If you have a specific reason for expecting one of your treatments to grow better than another, you could use a one-sided t-test (example: use a one-sided t-test predicting that plants watered with greywater will be significantly smaller than plants watered with tapwater), but if you don't have that specific hypothesis, stick with a two-sided t-test.
