  1. Any religion that depicts an individual as lacking in moral fibre and content if they don't confirm and adhere to their views and performance of their worshipping God .... for example I myself was born a muslim (but have never practises), grew up with and among a jewish community, was educated in a Cof E school, went to a Baptist church for my choir singing, received Sunday School instruction at a Methodist Church, have a senior cousin who is a Mormon and had a Quaker as a grandmother - I have since made a choice of being a Pagan because of all the conflicting views, opinions and practices of mainstream religion ....so much war, pain, sorrow and conflict ....  I am now being individually persecuted by my born-again-Christian manager because I have asked him not to keep bringing 'his God' into any and every conversation or other verbal communication we have ..... a person's beliefs and practices (within reason), so long as they don't involve or hurt anyone else, is their own personal choice and busines ..... no-one has a right to persecute another or have another defend their choices and practises because they are different from others.....

  4. I am Greek Orthodox. That is my religion. I do not know what they are seen as? I would like to know though what your view is? But yes I understand what you are saying and people should not try and behave as if  for example; they dont know that Jew's are seen as greedy or cold.

However, I dont think I dislike any religion...

  6. what the _____.

First off... stereotypes and religion don't go well together. Obviously they are false and there is nothing to LIKE ...if anything we need to stare clear form stereotypes and start looking at the truth. The Truth of religions and what they all stand for is Peace. So wow........this is a terrible question - stereotypes need to be stopped and we all must learn to be open and educated on the TRUTHS of all religions.

  7. What is the purpose of this Q other than to be divisive and Inflammatory. It serves no purpose other than to drag bigots out of the wood work ...

  8. Although I do not follow a particular religion, I am fascinated by the study of it. I have to admit that I support everyones religion and everyones right to practice religion, however I am not a fan of the Muslim religion, even before they were stereotyped. The main reason is that it does not adapt itself to a modern world and is used in an everyday manner to keep its adherents controlled. As any religion has the ability to affect it's adherents and as many religions have done in the past, but the Muslim religion is extremely active in doing this.

In it's current state it has no place in the modern world, and is particularly dangerous whilst keeping it's adherents ignorant.

  9. i'm a Roman Catholic Indian.

No Religion or Faith is stereotypical...its some people who are stereotypical. It all depends on which side you look.

i know plenty of peaceful, tolerant Muslims and have good Jewish friends who are generous, warm & kind.

You could so easily have said Muslims are known for their family values while the Jewish are known for their acumen.

    Why didn't you?

  10. c of e. you don't need to go to church! (it was a joke reminded me of an episode from bottom)

  11. I don't care for religion. I prefer a personal walk with Jesus Christ. Religion is about working your way to Heaven. A relationship with Christ is based on the fact that He died on the cross for everyone.
