Which store is better for a book enthusiast, waldens or borders?

Waldenbooks is actually part of the collected company of Border's Books. Essentially, they are the same thing.

A Border's book store tends to be larger than a Waldenbooks store is, which means Border's tends to have a larger selection of books. However, Border's is not the same thing as a "Border's Express" which is just a small version of Border's (which means it doesn't have CDs and movies like Border's), closer to a Waldenbooks; Border's Express (and Waldenbooks) is generally in a mall while a Border's is it's own store.

Walden's tends to have lower prices but a smaller selection. Border's tends to be a little more expensive but offers a much larger selection.

If I don't need a book immediately, I always order off Amazon.

I would say Borders.  It's bigger and usually has a bigger selection of books.  At least the one's I've been in are like that.  I love Borders (and all book stores!!) and I love to just walk in and smell the books.  It's weird and my boyfriend think's I'm nuts, but I love the smell of book stores for some reason.  LoL

I personally prefer borders but waldens has better prices alot of the time.

I think Borders owns Waldens. And anyway, all of the Waldens around me are those tiny mall stores and Borders is the size of Walmart

So I'd say Borders.
