Which stores carry resin in manhattan????

Question

Hey im looking for resin, the gallons and i cant seem to find any store in manhttan that carries it. If you guys know places that carry resin in small or big amounts please tell me. Also if you can can you give me an adress of the store, then i could find it esaly. Thanks

You don't say if you're wanting polyester (casting) resin or epoxy resin.  

If you're looking for *gallons* of epoxy resin, you can find at least the brand Glaze Coat (Famowood, by Eclectic) in a Home Depot, or perhaps at other hardware stores.

Also try any automotive supply or boat supply stores for larger containers of both polyester and epoxy resins.

You may be able to find sizes that large of both types too in an art supply store or in a hobby store (craft stores like Michaels or Pearl generally have only the smaller sizes, but maybe not).

You can also look in your yellow pages under the term Plastic Supplies, and those places will usually have larger amounts of both types (those places often also cut replacement plastic sheets for in-ceiling flourescent lights, for windows, etc.
