Which style of refrigerator is best and why?

Question

I'm looking for pros & cons on styles of refrigerators. I think I would like the ones w/ a freezer drawer on bottom and either 1 or 2 refrigerator doors on top. Everyone I talk to with a side-by-side freezer/refrigerator hates it due to the limited freezer space (unable to store large items).

I recommend a Whirlpool with freezer above and above average space. Avoid keeping two fridges in the house. a separate small freezer should satisfy the need for long storage.

freezer on the bottom is a bad idea because its always small and hard to fit stuf in. I recomend the split door because its cheep and easy to use

hi Gertie you can choose a refrigerator that has got freezer at the bottom with auto defrost,also odour free refrigerators.All the best.

Hi G...........get the one with the freezer on the bottom...I have talked to many guys who do repair work and also and old friend that worked for the goverment in the refer shop.......Freezers function better on the bottom............tha'ts why the old chest freezers last so long ..........I bought a new side by side for my wife for our kitchen and I replaced the main freezer cooling fan in less that 1 year........just a mere 285. oo for a part that was worth 15.oo from china........good luck.......bye.
