Can anyone name a list or something, or at least name one style of Japanese Jujitsu that contain punches and/or kicks in their teaching?

  1. pretty much all of them man. they are just used differently than in striking arts.

a jujutsu guy isnt going to try and knock you out...he will hit you to distract you long enough for him to throw you or secure a joint lock...or in the old days....stab you to death :)

  2. Atemi Waza is practiced in Jujutsu quite a bit actually.

As it is in many of the grappling arts.  However, it is often, though not always, hidden or reserved to higher levels of training.

Depending on the style, the strikes can be taught/used as merely distractionary (to lead into throws or locks), for bone breaking, pressure point strikes, sealing the breath or the vein techniques or just good ole knockouts (lots of good reversals and escapes with elbows that come to the face/skull just imagine where they are really going)
