Which sweet is special at Pune India?

'Shrikhand' is speciality of Pune for more than 300 years since the times of Maratha Empire. Another two are Basundi & Jilabi, these two sweets are available elsewhere also in the country they is called Rabadi and Jalebi in  north! Try at CHITALE in Pune and enjoy! I wish I were invited!

no doubt Srikhand is best sweet at pune. n take it only from Chitale Bandhu main branch at Shanipar,Bajirao road.

aslo try from same store 'PuranPoli'. it is d most famous sweet item in pune m maharashtra. also try Mango n Anjir Barfi from chitale.

"shrikhand" and "kazu katli" are very special sweets in pune. my grandmother and my mom come from there, so they are like experts. (my dad comes from kolaphur) type these in on yahoo or google images, and you can see for yourself what its like.
