Which swing was better?

Tigers new or old swing...they both have pros and cons, but which is better to learn from, and play with

new as the old only he could snap the hips thru the impact point

Well they both led to serious knee injury, so I am not so sure anyone should be trying to learn from them.

The only flaw in tigers swing is that his left foot spins out thru impact just because he has such a high swing speed, something has to give in

the reason why tiger changed to the hank haney swing is because firstly he said he didnt like the look of the old swing and secondly he had no control of his iron shots with the old swing (which i find hard to understand) but if u look carefully at the 97 masters he very rarely was pin high on the greens. tiger learned from mark o meara that pin high was the key to golf. so i think the new swing is better.
