Which tablet to use for animating ? bambooo medium or small/bamboo or intquois

I am thinking about a wacom bamboo fun tablet but i don't know if eathier a small or medium my price range is $75-$250 so tell me which size or if thier is anoher tablet that may work better for what i'm doing.Also why is intquious way more expensive than bamboo?

  1. You forgot to mention what it is that you are trying to do with the tablet. The reason the Bamboo is cheaper is because it's more limited than the Intuos - it's about half as sensitive as the Intuos and has half the resolution, the regular Bamboo doesn't have an eraser function, it only comes in one or two sizes/colors (the Intuos comes in many combinations), the regular doesn't come with a mouse or any software... etc. You can use the following chart to compare: http://www.wacom.com/bambootablet/compar...

    It looks like you'd be well off with the Bamboo Fun for the price, but again, if you are doing high-end work, you should probably invest a little extra money for a high-end tablet. The Bamboo and Bamboo Fun are intended as beginner/non-professional tools. Any work that you do for a paying customer probably shouldn't be done using the Bamboo, from the looks of it.
