Which tattoo do you have?

Question

Where is yours at? I have two. One on my neck that is a lizard and a butterfly on my hip. Both have very special meanings to me, even down to their placement. What does yours mean to you?

i have 3 (well, 9 depending how you count it, my mom says i have 9, i say 3). 1 on the back of my shoulder and 1 on my mid-right back. both are sets of music symbols (2 notes and treble clef on shoulder, note and bass clef on back), i love music, it's my hobby and interest. my 3rd is a set of 4 paw prints across my right foot, i love animals and have looked after many dogs (we foster for the SPCA) and puppies are always stepping on my feet.

i also have a few more picked out which i plan on getting, and they also have meaning to me.

I have a tattoo on my lower back that is vines and flowers. And I have a crucifix that says IESU . Jesus in Latin.

I got my 1st tattoo last wednesday...its on my left boob and its a Bluenote ( St. Louis Blues hockey symbol) with flames coming off it. It is very special to me. Hockey is something we always do as a family in fact when my son was 11 days old and I had a c-section (so yeah..lots of stitches)  we went to our first hockey game lol. Its our favorite thing in the world. when i was in the hospital i had all the games set to record on the DVR...man the DVR screwed up so i called Comcast and yelled at them for an hour insisting that they put the games on AGAIN for me..they didn't but it felt good...anyway that's just an example of how important and special it is to me and that's why I have the Bluenote on my boob..also..if you want to know the Bluenote code go to blues.nhl.com and read the code (its great to live by)

butterfly on ankle- for my coming of age, got it at 18yo

vine on foot- just bcse i wanted it but i will add to it when i marry and have a family

seahorse on thigh - for my dad to keep him near

butterfly on back of shoulder - for my mom to have her near

3 black butterflies on top of my shoulder- for my past, present and future

i have 2 more sets of butterflies planned.

more black ones to expand on the left shoulder

more colored ones to expand on the right shoulder

I have 3 but it looks like 2.

#1 Tribal arm band- wounded warrior (cherokee in me)

#2 Flaming Ying -Yang (always wanted a ying - yang tat, but wanted something to make it stand out)

#3 Tribal dagger with pot leaf behing it ( like knives and my artist name is Stoner)

my next tat will be a celtic cross with my grandparents names on it, since they all have died, I want them close to me at all times.
