Used for each of 'em is about 100 bucks...the r7 is just a little more expensive (about 5-10 bucks more) and since I figure that both of them are around equal price which is the better choice? I know the Burner is ultra forgiving but I hear the r7 is also very forgiving as well. Which would you pick for the same price?

  1. They are both fine clubs but I would pick the r7(I use an r5) because I really hate the look of the Burner line of clubs.  And while I'm hating clubs, Nike's square Sumo clubs look terrible, too.

  2. Go to a golf shop and try their demos.  Buy whichever you like better.  (I'm a huge Burner fan).

Make sure that you check them over carefully before buying.   Make sure there is no damage to the one you prefer.  If you go with the R7 see whether that includes the tool to remove/change around the weights.  Look for cracks on the clubface, condition of the grip and shaft.

  3. i like the R7 thats what i play...i think you can do more with them because of the weights!
