Which team do you prefer watching?

The Warriors, who are very up-tempo, emotional, fast-paced, and for the most part, exciting. However their success has been relatively low, which brings up the next team.

The Spurs, extremely fundamentally sound team. They're "boring" according to many but they get the job done. Dynasty team and have been the team to beat for years.

Which one do you like watching? Also, I am not hating on either team. They're both great teams and personally I would choose the Warriors.

  1. gsw don't have davis anymore, don't like to watch them anymore

  2. S-P-U-R-S!!!!

  3. Spurs mainly because they actually have loyal fans! LOL.

    Think Happy Thoughts!

  4. Spurs, Ginobili is fun to watch and Parker is good also.  Warriors don't have as much success.  I like watching juggernaut teams like Spurs vs Lakers, Spurs vs Celtics, or Spurs vs Piston.

  5. Celtics. Pure team basketball. And it's not a half court game like some other teams, them on defense is also very exciting.

  6. Of the two teams, I'll take the Spurs.  They play crisp and good basketball, and if a team like the Suns, the Rocket, the Nuggets and the Warriors of the West, or the Wizards and the Sixers of the East want to outscore them, the Spurs can run too, while keeping their fundamentals, and they will STILL beat any of these teams most of the time anyway.

People like up tempo teams such as the Rockets, the Nuggets, the Suns, the Sixers, and the Wizards because they like a lot of scoring and highlight offensive plays on the fast break, but fast offenses tend to mean mediocre or worse defenses, and defense wins championships.  That's why Boston, Detroit, Miami, the Spurs, and the early 2000's Lakers won those titles.  The teams they played tried to outscore, but when they met good defense, those shots started to clank instead of go through the hoop.

  7. Golden State because i love watching fast pace basketball

  8. The 76ers, but i would agree with you on the spurs they suck and i wish that a hurricane would blow down their stadium

  9. Phoenix is a great team to watch

  10. warriors , mainly hihlights dunks and mostly the crowd

spurs are kind of boring, but they have nice clutch plays when they have the game on the line

  11. Dallas Mavericks.  Been a fan since I can remember.

  12. Neither, i'd rather watch the Celtics, the Cavaliers, or the Hornets.

  13. Spurs!, they have a better history to tell!

  14. For pure entertainment value, I would say GS.  However, for good team play and excellent execution, then the Spurs.  Any basketball fan would love watching both teams for different reasons.  I really enjoy that Beidrens loves (he really enjoys) blocking shots, watching Ellis drive, and Jackson is now suddenly a pillar of the community (one year removed from discharging a firearm in a strip club parking lot!).

On the other hand, watching Duncan destroy people with basic move and great footwork, Parker's speed and teardrop in the lane, and Ginobilli's fearlesness (not to mention the great team play) is just awesome.  I NEVER watch one of their games and think "There's no way they win this".

As an NBA fan, I am looking forward to watching both teams this year as well as the lakers, Mavs, Celts, Sixers, Magic and Heat (Wade looks great).

  15. The Golden State Warriors

Im a huge Warriors fan, but thats not the only reason.  The excitement factor is huge too.  Yeah, i see the SPurs on ABC all the time, but never really see Warriors on national tv.  And they put up 100+ points in a streak of like 30-40 straight games last year.  Thats exciting.

They can score 7 points in a flash.

  16. warriors

  17. success? what success? the warriors have done nothing but get out the the first round 2 seasons ago.

stop acting like they were a legit team back then. ya they were fun to watch but honestly i like watching the spurs more, because they play longer and win a h**l of a lot more

  18. I prefer to watch the GSW in the regular season.

    and

    The Spurs in the playoffs.
