The milwaukee brewers who got sabathia and now they win every time he's at the plate plus he can hit the ball to? Or the mets getting Santana who's kind of struggling this year but may pick it up in the second half as he always does?

  1. i think the sabathia was the better trade.  I think that the Brewers have a better chance at making the postseason than the Mets do and he will be a more valuable asset as the season wears on.

  2. Definitely Santana is the better deal. Because in my opinion a pitcher for the long term (who is also known for great second halves) is better than pitchers who might not stay with the team at the end of the year. But in the short term I have to say Sabathia just because of the impact he's made on the Bucks. They've become legitimate playoff and maybe even postseason contenders while Santana hasn't really lived up to his billing. Even his last start the Mets offense had to bail him out (I think)

Right now if Santana doesn't pick it up for the 2nd half I would Sabathia is the better temporary fix (using the word loosely) but over the long term the Bucks maybe (might small chance) regret trading for Sabathia if they don't get out of the 1st round and the prospects they traded become good players.
