Now that Australia has no spinner something that should make a big difference because it levels the playing field to an extent because other nations have good pacemen

  1. What do you mean no spinner?

Warnie may well be back, so look out India, and the rest of you.

  2. South Africa can take any team on...

  3. well as aussie, theres only one team i am worried about, theres only one i think with the strength and ability to take the number one spot off us, and thats South Africa

India and England are getting there, but are still at least 18 months away from being able to hold on to number 1

  4. South Africa

  5. According to me the 2 teams that can give the  Australians a run for their money are India and South africa all others are useless

  6. Only India & to some extend South Africa

  7. South Africa now that Australia may also face a problem in the spin department with Warne Macgill and Hogg all gone so close to each other because our pace bowlers are really good and our batsmen can hold their own our fielders back up the bowlers we are excellent in the slips and our captain has matured and also probably learned a lot from Shane Warne in the recent IPL all good signs for South Africa

  8. india and south africa

  9. South Africa they will definitely give Australia a hard time

  10. I think India but South Africa also can challenge them! But India comes first for me!

  11. My INDIA.

  12. South Africa they are building a strong team but only time will tell how good they are

  13. India...............

  14. In my view it is SA to challenge Aussies in the years to come.

  15. Its INDIA !!

  16. S.Africa is my guess, & who says we have no spinner? We got secrets! lol

  17. I think SA and India, with a bit of luck, have what it takes to beat OZ in Test cricket. For SA, if Dale Steyn is on form, he is the best fast bowler in the world. He's of great help when you're looking to take 20 wickets in a match. Amla, and especially Kallis, have shown they have the mental attributes to bat patiently and for long periods of time. Problem is, SA's most experienced players seem to choke at the last hurdle more often than not. For India, we've reached a peek in the batting department where the wealth of experience and amazing techniques can put any Test bowling line up on any type of wicket under extreme pressure simply because of the speed in which it can accumulate runs. Add to that the resurgence (or emergence, hehe) of good young fast bowlers and the mental toughness of a team which honestly believes in itself and it looks good. Problem is, we seem to have one very bad batting session in every Test series that puts us on the back foot. And unfortunately, Australia rarely misses a knock-out oppurtunity when its opposition is against the ropes.

Regarding Warnie, it won't make any difference to India. If anything, it's a new challenge because regardless of what a legend he is, we are sure to hit him all over the park. SA on the other hand are surely ecstatic to see the back of him! :)

Ultimately though, if SA and India don't fall suspect to their historical weakenesses, it's definitely on!

  18. INDIA

  19. I dont think any team existing to play against and win australia

  20. india in test, and south africa in one dayers
