Question:

Which team in the AFL do you think has the most LOYAL supporters?

To me it is the West Coast Eagles. They have had a horror run this year & have been copping criticism from other members in here because of it. There are some really loyal WCE fans (mainly girls/women) who come in here & stick with the team steadfastly. Melbourne & Fremantle must have the most disloyal as I never see anyone who supports either side in here.

P.S. I, & the missus are away from home babysitting our daughter & SIL's two littlies & I haven't been on here for two days. However someone sent me a copy of a post put on here yesterday by RR under one of her other IDs. Gee, she has it bad! I've never seen such a personal attack on me before. It looks like it has now been deleted. She is obsessed with having me removed from this site because I had the cheek to rubbish the Pies - then I caught her out with multiple IDs (She swaps best answers between the different IDs). Have a look at hers & X MAN's (guess who?). Just take note of how she harasses me under hers & her other IDs. It is quite obvious & easy to see.

Anyway, enough said. Block me if you wish; give me thumbs down; don't answer my questions. I will continue posting under my original ID & be damned. That will really annoy you wont it RR?

  1. Good question,  i think....

Off Field eagles - being called druggies for 2 years feels like c**p!! Having our captain betray us, ex captain have a drug addiction, plus finishing 15th - nothing could be worst!! and still have a full membership captivity (45,000) and 10,000+ waiting to be.... now that's loyal, when you look at the season we have had!

On Field freo - they have virtually nothing holding them to that club, with no flag, no grand final appearances and little finals hopes. I'm surprised they have so many supporters, that are willing to come up with so many pathetic lies to some how see the shining light!

  2. has to be West Coast

the silly idiots sit in the stands and pay money to watch the crappiest team in history

  3. Even though west coast didnt do well this year, the supporters still showed up to games with the same attitude and passion for the game as we had in better times like 05 + 06. I went along to every game with my best mate and every time it was either almost or definately full house. the best example of pure tears was when we went along to the saints game expecting to get smashed. when we won the crowd sung the song easily three times over, it was amazing. i love west coast and we have the most loyal supporters ever.

  4. Richmond id say, even though they have been s#%@ for a while (ages...) they have always pulled reasonable crowds, despite this.

FYI i don't barrack for Richmond, i barrack for Hawthorn.

  5. I'm a Melbourne supporter. We just don't have as many supporters as most clubs. I think your misinformed, sitting on the outside judging clubs, your a joke. All clubs lose lots of supporters when they aren't performing.

Look at Melbourne's year and look at our membership. This year we have our highest EVER membership total.

  6. I'd have to agree that West Coast Eagles supporters, in this section in particular, have been very loyal. I don't advertise which team I follow so as to not antagonize anyone, or have anyone antagonize me. LOL.

I also agree with Brutally Honest, for a team like Port to make the grand final one year & not hear a peep from their fans the following year when they don't do too good.

I also saw that message you commented on. I don't take notice of what others tell me to do. I just blunder merrily along on my own accord.

  7. I love the Eagles but I think Saints have the most loyal fans they stuck by them through the hard times while they langiushed down the bottom for years.

  8. Demons supporters must be loyal, they have been c**p for so long now. And dont worry about those sad pathetic rubbish mouth people, they make me laugh how they give each other best answers all the time, even when their answers are c**p, and if they give themselves best answer thats just so pathetic it makes me feel sorry for them. One kid this morning asked like 10 questions in a row and then used his #1 Saints fan to answer them all and then gives himself best answer to all of them.

  9. Collingwood, because they have to take so much more c**p than the supporters of other teams, and they are loyal even though their team hasn't been successful in recent years.

Carlton, because they've had to put up with eight years of being on the bottom of the ladder, but they still show up to support their team.

Geelong, Sydney, Bulldogs and St Kilda, because all of these clubs had massive gaps between premierhips, and in some cases, have only ever won one flag. Their supporters still stick by their clubs, and in the case of Sydney (South Melbourne) and Geelong, the true followers have seen the rewards.

As for all this nonsense that's going on in this section - I'd just liek to say that I'm sick of it. This website is merely for people to talk about football. People need to stop ruining the forum for other users, who are being driven away from this section.

  10. Looking back over the years probably the Pies, Saints, Swans, Fitzroy and now the Bombers since they have been consistantly finsishing 12th!

  11. yeah i agree about what you said about the eagles supporters (aka me) - if you have noticed  at all the eagles home matches this season there has been a full crowd, which means that supporters are dedicated and will not ever give up on their team - which has payed off because west coast of all the games that west coast won this season all of them were at home. The eagles supporters never igive up and know that the eagles list is young and extreemely talanted therefore an amazing future for the club.

  12. I'm a WC man, but I have to say Fremantle supporters are very loyal, near 15 years of rubbish from their club and they still stick with them - one of the highest membership bases in the league.

West Coast supporters have been spoilt with success and would have more bandwagoners then most other clubs - so much more empty seats and people leaving early this year vs the last 3.

Richmond and Collingwood are the clubs that stand out to me as having very loyal supporters, despite their records over the past 25 years.

  13. collingwood because we take so much c**p for a incidents that happens for years. and everything is taken ot of proportion

  14. the most disloyal would have to go to Port Adelaide. they were in the premiership last year, and now they are doing bad, the fans just decided not to turn up.

but the most loyal would be either Geelong (so many fans had waited so long for that premiership) or West Coast (still got good numbers to games, considering their position on the table)

  15. Wallabies & All Blacks!

  16. I'm with you Molly. Definitely St Kilda. One premiership in how many years?

You've got to admire their loyalty.

  17. It would seem that the majority of people on this site are: West Coast, Collingwood, Geelong, Adelaide with a few richmond, Saints & Bulldogs fans scattered around. The first two teams I mentioned would be the most loyal in the fact that they have had to do the most defending of their teams in recent times (Collingwood for a bit longer I guess). Geelong supporters are now reaping the rewards of sticking by their team through the bad.

(OOps, forgot to mention the Carlton, Hawks, Swans and essendon)

Where are the freo & Port supporters??

EDIT: Just realised I didn't finish answering. Being a West Coast girl, i'm gonna say WC fans for sticking by the club. Closely followed by Pies fans and then Geelong

  18. richmond easily. our club almost went broke in the 'save our skins' campaign in 1990, raising a million dollars to save the club in around 2 months.

we've been named the most passionate by many.

    go the tigers :)
