Toronto Maple Leafs

The fact that the fans in Toronto are so loyal and so old school, even after so many cup-less seasons is a big part of the reason.   Maybe it was watching HNIC every Saturday that drilled this into my head....Toronto was always my 2nd favorite team.

(I grew up and currently live in Hockeytown (copyright protected), Detroit Metro area, home of the Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings.  99% of Red Wing fans have never watched a regular season game though. )

Montreal is a close second with Detroit #3.

Used to be the Caps before we got associated with some, shall we say classless band waggoners.  Now, I'd say the Blue Jackets.  They've never had much to cheer for, but they're still out there every game supporting their team, and they'll be rewarded soon they've got a skilled young team.

Minnesota, The State of Hockey.  The Wild have sold out every pre-season, regular season, and play-off game in their history.  No other team compares.  Game over.

I've been to quite a few Montreal games and those Canadien fans are pretty diehard. I love the feeling of being there, fans are very very involved with their hockey.

After seeing the finals with the pens and wings. i have got to say the pens fans. Despite all the puckbunnies they have a great fan base. They are classy true and die hard. The crowd actually gave the team a standing obation after they lost the cup. Thats class my friends. So thats why i pick pens!

Every die hard NHL fan is the best fan if they support their team through thick and thin. Some teams (i.e Toronto, Montreal) just have more fans than other teams (Tampa Bay, Nashville) which is why they are considered to have the best fans.

The Dallas Stars, everyone loves watching hockey because it is so physical and the Stars are the most physical with players such as Brenden Morrow

Like in Toronto, the still cheer there team even if they are a failure. Don't forget about the Oilers and the Canucks too. Here, in Calgary Every dresses in red when they go to the dome . Then there is Detroit, there's a reason their called Hockeytown. So in general, every team has the best fans.

Some of the other teams though don't have such great fans though because in the Pre Season games (where they were sold out in canada) there was only 5 people at the BlackHawks game.
