The Bears D was overrated in 06 and was exposed in 07. They're just a decent defense. Meanwhile, the Eagles have a good defense on paper but they'll be extremely inconsistent.

The Eagles will definitely go farther. The Bears have no offense.

The eagles are waaaaay better than the bears.

They are going to do realley really good this year. Take a look at that A+ defense. Brian Dawkins and Asante Samuels at CB, who can break through that secondary. and they have amazing weapons on offense like Brian Westbrook at RB and Desean Jackson at WR. All we need is a healthy McNabb and we are good to go for the regular seasons and perhaps playoffs.

The Bears only need one piece to fall into place to make another trip to the super bowl, a proven quarterback.  Chicago should seriously go after the soap opera known as Bret Favre.  I believe that Favre would leave all of the drama back in Green Bay just for another shot at a super bowl.  What if he retires afterward, You still have a Lombardi in th trophy case for the effort.  I will keep the dream alive.  But anyway even with Orton at the helm Da Bears will be better then then the Barfffffffffff, excuse me Eagles and we will prove it September 28.

The Bears have the better defense, this is about the only bright spot on the Bears.

The Eagles will go further in the regular season, but at the same time, they play in the same division as the Cowboys and Giants while the Bears play in a division where the best QB is Jon Kitna.

The Eagles are the better overall team without a doubt.  The Bears have the better D, but they don't even know who their QB will be, they've got a rookie RB that will probably be their starter and they have nothing really at WR.

This is coming from a Bears fan too.  I have faith and will root for my team, but things this year just don't look too good.
