Which team should I like better, the New York Mets or the Boston Red Sox?

Question

I have been torn between the two teams for years now, i was born in new York (dont like the yanks, so thats not an option), so i like the mets, i also like their colors, their fan loyalty, mr met, and jose reyes. But i also hold like to the Red Sox, being to Boston only once, for their players, fan communtiy, and pitching ultimatly. I know this decision is usually up to me, but feel free to provide any advice.

Bosox all the way, but since you were born in NY you might wanna cheer for the mets as if your some of your family lives there (and they like the mets) they wont make fun of you lol but it is your choice all the way :)

Where do you live now?  Who does your Dad cheer for?  Who do your friends cheer for?  What park do you get to?  What teams are broadcast locally?  Red Sox Nation is everywhere.  I have been to games where I have chatted with true Red Sox fans who have never been to Fenway, some have never been to Boston.  There are Red Sox bars from Santa Monica to Manhattan.  Does that make you a band wagoner?  I don't know.  Just a bunch of factors to consider.

Wow, I understand your situation. Obviously I can't give you a reason why,it's your decision. If you like rooting for teams that have less drama, and win a lot, you might want the Red Sox. If you like teams that are a bit inconsistent but find ways to win the Mets are for you. It's your decision, don't feel forced though.

The Sox, because all of those years of loss and pain, when so many of us kept our dream alive, show you that hope really does spring eternal.  The Sox, because in 2004 all of those hopeless dreams came true. If the Sox could win the Series, and beat those d**n Yankees, then anything is possible.  Being a Sox fan means that all of your own dreams really can come true!
