Armadale Thistle for a short spell (1921 until 1932) was a Scottish Senior League team. They fell victim to a ruling from the Scottish Football League that stopped them hosting greyhound-racing at their ground Volunteer Park. As the majority of their income was generated through the dogs, they were forced out of the league. They still existed as a Scottish Junior Club, and although their stadium has a capacity of 3000, they only attracted crowds of around 100 spectators for home games.
