  1. Both will Be Better But If The Rockets Have Good Chemistry They Will Be As Good As Best In The West And If They Stay Healthy to Go With That They Will Be Champs

(Remember The Streak They Had Without Yao)

  2. Hornets

  3. Good question Tanya.

Before yesterday I would have given the edge to the Hornets.  Although they certainly helped themselves by signing James Posey, a defensive presence they clearly needed at the wing.

But I'm going with the Rockets outight IF and tht is an if.....they stay healthy.  Of course Artest needs to not be a head case and just play basketball.  But this was a 55 win team without Yao for much of the season.

With Yao playing they probably beat the Jazz and who knows how far they could have gone with him last year.  Adding Artest ( one of the 10-15) best players in the game without giving up a single player who contributed to your roster last year....wow, they can be real good.

It's funny though, everyone keeps saying he bring baggage with his attitude etc.  But thats EXACTLY what the rockets have been lacking.  Yao and T Mac are both great players but the team lacked that certain toughness which Artest will def.  bring.  Clearly them and the Celtics have the best trio in the NBA.

This was already the top 3 defenseive teams without Artest (who is easily the 5 best defenders in the game).  This catapolts the Rockets right up there with the Hornets, Lakers and Celtics to win the whole thing.

  4. I really am not sure who will be better; I think they'll both be better than last year, but I see the Hornets having more potential to slip, while the Rockets really have nowhere to go but up, at least in the playoffs.

The Rockets, as it's been said, won 55 games without Yao for a third of the season. Yao getting hurt is nothing new, but this team for once actually looked good without their big man, then let it fall apart in the playoffs. Artest brings playoff experience, defensive tenacity, and he's also playing for Rick Adelman, who's probably the only guy that can keep him under control.

And speaking of under control, Artest really hasn't gotten into trouble since the brawl. The only thing I had heard was that he shaved the name of his record label into his head or something like that a few years back, but he's been more or less not a head case since he's been in Sacramento. He'll be a good fit with the Rockets, so I guess I'll say they'll be better.

  5. To kevin s stephen a. smith came up with that c**p like he always does, Tmac says his happy why will he leave now that he has a great team

  6. im a rockets fan but sadly the hornets are the better team because they can get out of the 1st round...

  7. Both like Mr.gud said

  8. ROCKETS SON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. BOTH

  10. Gotta go with the hometown...Houston baby! Even though they are making an unwise choice with getting Ron Artest.

  11. On paper, I think the Rockets. This is without seeing them play, but without injuries, I think the Rockets will be the best in the west.

  12. Hornets have to many skilled players, Chris Paul who can put up 30 a night and the hornets center will dunk all over yao because yao isnt atheltic.

  13. ha hornets, rumor has it Tmac wants out of houston, and detroit is intrested
