  1. the answer to your question is has any team done it already???  there ya go. you would have to be blind dead dumb to sign barry bonds

  2. The Yankees are thinking about it. Isn't that something??

  3. I doubt the yankees will sign bonds. The media keeps saying that the yankees are looking at him, but why wouldnt they just trade for Nady or Bay, someone who can hit and play the field. And New York took it pretty hard when bonds passed Babe Ruth so it would be suicide to have bonds in pinstripes.

  4. The Mariners would if they weren't worried about Selig punishing them. They already signed Carl Everett and traded for Jose Vidro. Bonds may be out though because he'd actually improve the team.

  5. The Yankees.

They don't care about their morals.

    They care about winning.

Plus their willing to pay anything.

    Jack

  6. Are you kidding me?! They ( the Yankees, if that's who you're referring to ) would be better off trading a couple of good prospects to Cincinnati for Ken Griffey Jr. But, as we all know, the Yankees will do things their way regardless of what any of us think...

  7. Nobody.

However, if you're referring to Bonds, he did say last week that he'd be willing to work for MLB minimum and would donate his salary to charity.  I still don't see anyone signing him, but that moves it from "practically impossible" to "highly improbable."
