Which team would you rather like right now....

I need you to be a frontrunner! If you had to choose between ONLY these two teams to be a fan of(DO NOT BASE ON CURRENT OPINIONS OF TEAMS) which would you choose to like....

I would still rather be a NY Met fan because I just like their players better.

Which team is in a better position right now? I would probably say New York Mets. For all their troubles, they still got Johan Santana who is STILL the best pitcher in baseball (For all you Met fans that hated this signing, he should be 15-7 if the Mets had a bullpen). They have the offense as well. Only problem is the bullpen. I think once Wagner is back, it will get slightly better and I'm guaranteeing a playoffs but the fact they got better starting pitching than the Yankees gives them the edge.

im a red sox fan...and IM SORRY to allllll tohse other red sox fans out there when i say...id like the yankees out of these two =(...they are my pick because as a boston sports fan...i dont like to be disappointed...and every season it seems like the mets disappoint their fans in some way...that wont happen too much with the yankees

ugh, That's hard. I'd probably go with the.....oh, I don't know.  I'd go Yankees b/c my favorite team right now is the Phils and they are in the same division as the Mets so I can't have to favorite teams in one division.  Also, the Yankees have had more success in baseball and have more history.  I think it would be cool to be a fan of such a historic team that has had such an impact on baseball.

edit: Sorry, I'd pick the Mets b/c they atleast have a better chance of say, the Wild Card than the Yanks.  I don't think either will win the division.

          METS Not Only Because im a met fan.

Because The yankees are 8 games behind first in a very tough division with the red sox and rays. and the mets areonly 2 in a half and they have a better chance to make it to the playoffs.

Even tho They Choked Last year,and there Bullpen Sucks you gotta admit Mets got the better chance.

The Yankees because I am a Marlins fan and the Mets are a serious problem right now :)

Other than that, I'd still vote for Yanks because personally, I like the DH.

Definately Yankees. It is not embarassing to get swept from the best team in baseball but what is embarassing is that the Mets had a 4 run lead in the 7th inning and lost 7-4 to the PIRATES!

The one day that Pedro can pitch well, The Mets blow his game. Im telling ya, That Mets bullpen needs a total upgrade.

I think that the Yankees are the ultimate front runner team and you would have more confidence in them because of past history.  But I think the mets have a better shot at the playoffs because of weaker competition.
