Which teams' bandwagon fans should be enshrined at the Bandwagon Hall-of-Fame this year?

As I see it, the B.H.O.F. would already have bronze keys for the 2006 Senators and the 2007 Sabres. I don't know about anyone else, but I think the 2008 Penguins bandwagon fans should be exempt from any voting process and get their award now.

(Real Penguin fans aren't eligible for this dubious distinction)

wow...flyers fans have turned quite bitter over the past week (as they should)...i find it amusing because our team (the pens) sucked so bad for years, and there were plenty of us pre and post lemieux fans that have been waiting for our team to resurface. and resurface they have. and now, becuase of our success and they way other fans have become attracted to the pens (as they should), they are bandwagon fans. win a cup philly, and then you can complain about whatever the h**l you want to.

How do you tell a real fan from a bandwagon? Because they do not talk smack when their team is losing? I would rather be a bandwagon than an idiot.

I'm in favour of the exemption.

Joe, you weren't here last year. Trust us when we say that last year's Sabres' wagon was worse. MUCH more cockier, arrogant, and about 300 times more ignorant.

I agree with the Pens fans, but I would also throw in the Dallas fans. Not only do they know nothing about football, but they are just as clueless about hockey. The only reason they even go to the games, is because it is the "in" thing to do. Not only that, I hate how they don't understand the rules and think there should be a penalty every time one of their players fall down and go boom.

You Flyer fans should be happy that your team went from horrible to the conference finals. Every team that does good always gets "bandwagon fans". I've suffered through several years of horrible Pens games to finally enjoy this season!

not even the pats can rival how quick the pens have have reproduced

Edit and i have not been here long enough to say who in here is or is not (though i do know a few) and im not just talking filling seats a simple internet search for Pittsburgh Penguins tv ratings shows how bad it is ....here is one link

Sabres "fans" from last year were very similar, but i would take them back in a second over the Pens fans this year.

Ottawa fans were bad in 06 but I wasnt here back then.

Note:  These were the worst 3 organizations financially before the strike.   Hmmmm, seems odd doesnt it?

Edit:  If you reply to this thread, and your answer in some way says "Flyers suck", its pretty obvious you are a bandwagon fan.

As a real Pens fan I would say it is the NY Rangers! I know what you are saying " they are not playing" But have you ever gone to a game? I have been to just about every Devils, Flyer's, and Rangers home game vs the Penguins in the last 6 years. These Rangers fans just sit there in suits playing with there Blackberry's for the whole game. Not only that all the fake Devils fans are loving the Rangers now that they are starting to win. Whats there excuse you ask? They say that the Rangers have been around longer then the Devils? Too bad more then half of them were born in the 80's!

In closing please all of you fake *** Devils/Rangers Blackberry playing, suit wearing, Bandwagon jumping fans please stay home next season so that real fans can get to the game! I'm sure you will all be Red Wing fans in a week!

Bill totally agree.Pens fans but people say the Sabres were worse here last year.I couldn't imagine them being worse.But Bill we will see how many loyal Pens fans there are out there when they lose Malkin because he wants to break the bank and they can't afford him this off season.

This isn't to rip the real Pens fans out there and you know who you are.

pgh-How can you say the Flyers suck in the playoffs when they're in the final 4 in all of hockey?I understand if you're talking about this series but you know the injury situation.Old horses?They're the youngest in the league.
