you're underrating the hawks a little, because i mean they almost beat the celtics in the first round of the playoffs in '08, also where are the cavs, they should be the 4th seed, and just take off the bulls, i mean come on, it wasn't their coaches fault that they did that terribly last season and for the western conference it looks about right

For the most part your predictions look good. I'd put in the heat over the bulls for the east. I also think that(if tracy, yao, and alston stay healthy and ron artest bes a good boy)then the rockets could be a 1st or 2nd seed. I also think portland could be as high as a 6th seed.

Wait, you don't have the Cavs in the playoffs? I am not a huge fan of LeBron and the Cavs, but they will be there. I like your east standing. I don't think the Hawks will be back though. I like the West. I do think the Jazz will be #3, ahead of Spurs and Rockets. Overall, I like yours. I would just make a few changes.

I forgot, I would put the Heat somewhere in the mix in the east.

The reason I think that the Clippers will get the 7th pick is because they added in Baron Davis, Marcus Camby, Ricky Davis, Brian Skinner, Jason Hart, and Shaun Livingston will return. They have revamped their whole roster, and have added depth into their bench. This will be a team that will surprise many people, I guarantee it.
