  1. i love the wilson "k" factor rackets, they are quick and get great spin and pop on the ball...tennis warehouse sells it

  2. The head microgel is a great racquet.  You can buy it at www.tenniswarehouse.com       www.tennisplaza.com      www.tennisexpress.com     www.midwestsports.com

  3. Add more details man. How much do you want to pay? What kind of play do you use: serve and volley, baseliner, counterpuncher? Do you have a fast/ slow swing speed? Are you looking for power or control?

  4. I use Wilson's k four. You should, too.

But seriously, most mid-priced rackets these days are very good. You could almost throw darts to select your next racket and you would be served well.

Take some suggestions here, read some reviews, narrow it down to a few rackets that are within your price range and pick one that appeals to you. If you can try them out first, then do so. If you can't, then make and educated guess.

I think that many people place too much importance on gear (today and in the past). As I said, most modern day rackets are very well designed and will be great. I assume that you are NOT a top-notch, open level player (since your are asking such a question about what racket to use)? if you're not open level or professional, then my only other suggestion would be to choose a racket with a larger head. avoid anything with less than 110 inches. this is one, very noticeable difference with rackets, regardless of the manufacturer or technology. i'm a former ncaa all-american working to get my game back to open tournament status, and i've always used a larger head racket. i see too many people on the courts, of late, attempting to emulate the pros by using their smaller, mid-sized rackets.

  5. the easiest thing to do is to visit a local tennis shop and demo all the racquets you are interested in.  this should be free; at most you will pay a deposit and be reimbursed upon the return of the racquet.

    www.tennis-warehouse.com

sells just about every racquet, has reviews, customer feedback, and even shows you racquets similar to the ones you like.

as for other racquets: try wilson (k six-one tour/95/team), head (microgel radical/extreme/prestige), or babolat (pure storm/pure drive/pure drive roddick/ aeropro drive)

i really recommend looking at tennis-warehouse.com, finding a few that you like, and then demoing them at a local store or from a teaching pro.

  6. The Babolat AeroPro Drive with Cortex racket is great. It has excellent comfort and feel, and I love it. Most of my friends have it and enjoy it as well. You can buy it for $185 on

    http://www.tenniswarehouse.com

    =D

  7. i would use either a wilson or a prince....i have 2 prince racquets and i have used wilsons too....they are both great racquets....you can buy them at tenniswarehouse.com....at this website they have shoes, racquets, apparel, etc.

  8. i like either wilson k factor or head liquid metal... the new one

    :)

    good luck

a good play to buy rackets is tenniswarehouse.com

or you can also get them on individual websites... like head.com or prince, etc.
