Which tennis course should I take?

I'm 13 going into 8th, and I wanted to take a tennis course over the summer so I could get better and in shape for when the season starts. There are only 2 courses open in our city and I don't know which one to take.

The first one is called Beginner II, it's for 12-18 year olds: "Those age 12 and up will learn the basics of tennis play, skills, scoring, and rules through games and drills."

The second one is called Intermediate, its for 7-18 year olds: "Players with solid basic skills will focus on advanced skills, strategy, and shot selection."

I fit in between the two, in the Adv. Beginner class but its filled up. The definition of that is "Players with sufficient forehand skills focus on more intense drill and play

and match strategy."

So I need to decide which one to take since I'm in the middle. 10 points for most helpful answer. =] Thanks in advance.

  1. Go to intermediate. Even if u r not as good as the kids in it u will get great practice with players who are better. The only way to succeed in tennis is to hit with the good kids and get use to people with harder and better shots. U will also get coached and become more competitive which will make u an overall better player. The beginer course seems like its for kids who don't really know anything about tennis. Go with the intermediate and u will improve ur game to the next level!
