I was just thinking about how Dementieva won gold just now but ALSO won silver back in 2004, so I was wondering whether other players have won more than one Olympic medal in singles like that. Is there a chart or something somewhere that shows singles tennis results for all the Olympicses?

  1. Here's one Chart : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Oly...

No man or woman has ever won more than one Gold medal In Singles, but there have been multiple medal and gold medal winners.

Venus williams has the most Gold medals of any woman on record with 3.  One for singles and 2 for Doubles

Reginald Doherty of Great Britian has 3 as well on the men's side.

2 for doubles and one for Mixed doubles.

    Overall...

The british women's player Dathleen Mckane Godfree has the most tennis olympic medals ever with 5. 1 Gold and 2 each of the other two.

Since Tennis has been an olympic sport ( it was removed once for a long period from 1928 til 1984) Great Britain has the most medal as a country with 44 since the games began.

    Hope that helps!
