Which test is better when trying to find out if your pregnant?

Question

ok so my fiancee and i are trying to have a baby.

we have had unprotected s*x four (4) times.

i just got my period and i think there is a chance i can be pregnant, but

since i just started my period which pregnancy test is better...

the urine test or the blood test?

please help and give some advice

A blood test will be conclusive; a urine test is cheaper but less reliable. Unfortunately, if you got your period then you're probably not pregnant. It is extremely rare for you to bleed excessively early in pregnancy and still be viably pregnant.

If you're wanting a test at home, I recommend First Response or Clear Blue Easy.  However, a blood test from the doctor is definitely more reliable.  

Even though you may have had s*x at all the right times, that won't guarantee conception.  If you're wanting to get pregnant, and you didn't this month, I recommend learning more about your cycle and charting it.  Fertility Friend is a great site where you can set up an ovulation calendar, and also an email class you can sign up for that's awesome.  Essential Conception Guide is a fantastic site with some GREAT information....you may have to search around on the blog part, but it's definitely worth it!

dont want to sound like a killjoy, but if you are on your period then theres a very small chance that you are actually pregnant!!
