  1. alton towers

  2. Your kid is probably too young for Alton Towers. That is more for bigger kids, definitely. I'd say Legoland Windsor is best for a 9 yr old. I enjoyed it when I was that age!

  3. Alton Towers... but god don't eat the food!!!!

And Charlie and the chocolate factory ride sucks!!!

  4. Alton Towers is by far the best!

  5. The best place is Dryton Manor my kids love it and they are 11,10, and 4 years old and its smaller than Alton Towers so you get to see and go on everything!

  6. th cool one

  7. Alton towers is a great theme park. With most rides you have to be 1.2m and for the bigger rides 1.4m, but it can get really busy during peak times which means lots of queueing.

Legoland is also a good one if your boy is into lego and he would be able to go on everything there as it is aimed at a younger group than alton towers and doesnt have many big rides.

It really depends on how much of a thrillseeker he is!!

  8. probably alton towers as theres more to do but depending on where you live theres paultons park near southampton which is a theme park designed for kids and has plenty of rides there to keep them and you amused all day

  9. Alton Towers Or Drayton Manor although Drayton Manner is boring in my opinion it only has Stormforce 10 and G-Force, personally i would go or Alton Towers Better Rides and more excitment

  10. Although Alton Towers is probably the best theme park I wouldnt say it would be the best one for a 9 year old.  The one I take my younger ones to is Gullivers World.  Not sure where it is, I think there may be a couple but they are definatley geared towards the younger end ie 5 - 15 yr olds.

  11. ALTON TOWERS!!!

  12. terror land

  13. Probbaly Alton Towers. Camelot is great for kids but maybe at 9 he's a tiny bit too old, most of the kids there will be 7 and under.

  14. Depends where you live and how much he likes roller coasters.  If he's not scared of them, then Alton Towers is the best UK park.  If he's not sure, then somewhere like Legoland or Chessington is great because there's plenty to do and a great mix of rides and roller coasters which would suit any age of child.  My daughter's always loved Legoland but last year she discovered Chessington and thought it was fantastic.  This year we're going to try Alton Towers but I don't think she'll be doing any of the big 6 rides due to fear and height - she's 9.  So you may be better starting with Chessington.

If you live near Derbyshire then Gulliver's Kingdon at Matlock Bath is also good fun; cheap entry and a good mix of rides with nothing too scary.

  15. For a 9 year old, you'd probably want to go to places like Legoland, Gulliver's Kingdom (Derbyshire, I believe) or Gulliver's Land (Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire) The rides here are a lot tamer. Wicksteed Park is also a fun place. Not only do they have a huge play park, they also have a lot of rides. Great place for a long day out, and a great place for bringing a picnic.

  16. hi. well i would think either Flamingo land or drakon manor has they are not mega busy like Alton Towers

  17. Our kids much prefer Flamingo Land to anything else, probably due to the fact you are getting a two for one.

There are lots of rides but also a (sort of) Zoo there too and lots of animals to look at which always goes down well with the children.
