Disneyland would be my choice. I would advise a Park Hopper pass so that you may go to both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. There is lots to see and do at both of these parks so I would also advise more than one day :)

If you have children the best one is disneyland, and if youre looking for one that is not that pricy, go to knotts. camp snoopy is the best for the little ones.  for the big kids the best one is six flags. beware to feel youre heart fall right to youre stomach. and for water theme parks , i suggest that you take the children to soak city,it is perfect for the whole family,not that big and is not that small so every one is still close by. and you could always get tickets for them at a discounted price at this website. www.funex.com
