Which theme?

Ok I might get a new house and I don't know what theme I want between Black,White, and red/orange, OR Yellow and green.

P.S

I like IKEA stuff too so can you think of another theme??

i like the black and white idea...but i also like yellow and green if you are more daring.

anyways, i dont agree with Dark Knight.

dont do everyroom one style. that would look very tacky and unfashionable! no including weird and dont work together. no offense to dark knight.

anyways, i think black and white would look good. but u might get bored of it after awhile. after all, its very common.

red and orange would be very nice mixture, it is colorful, and it would make u happy when ur in the room.

dont make it too bright, or it will annoy u in the morning, and can be really hot (tempurature wise)

yellow and green would be a cooler (temp. wise). it makes u feel nice and cool, and calm and relax at the same time.

if u do green and yellow, make ur room look like a fairy tale garden, or safari.. or nature kinda theme. u can paint designs on ur wall, and put hand prints like my wall...

if u do orange and red, you can do the poka dot theme using those two colors.

SO .. first of all .. i congratulate u 4 having a new house .. Secondly answering Ur question .. The exterior of the house could b in one theme and the interior could be in another theme .. Dis 's a kind of style .. So if u follow this style, then the exterior would be in one style, the interior would be in another style .. Interior means not the full interiors .. Maybe the hall in one theme, bedrooms in one theme, toilets in one theme .. kitchen in one theme .. Make sure u don't use the same theme u've used before..  Dis 's ma idea .. So the full house would be in a mix of themes .. IT doesn't consistently need to be in one theme ..

Hope u get what i mean .. if u c da exterior of da house, it would b in a theme .. say, Colonial theme .. ( jus search it in google / wikipedia .. it might giv u lots of details .. ) .. the person who comes to u'r house would be thinking tat da house would be the same theme as of the exterior .. but when he comes inside the hall / foyer space .. it would be in a different theme .. ( say .. mayb in a classical theme .. theme involves not only the paints but everything in tat space .. from furnitures to electrical switches .. ) the person then enters the living / dining room .. dis mayb in a dif.. theme ( say contemporary theme ..) then kitchen ( say .. flame theme .. ) then bedrooms and toilets ..

Let the bedrooms be decided by the room mates who stay in tat room .. the toilets in different aqua theme . .. since water plays a major role ..

U could also themes like black and white .. in an area .. as wat u've said .. I'll jus tell u wat feelings some of the colours would giv ..

Black -- gives royalty or official colour

Red -- Gives anger, hot .. tensed .. warm ( Can b used in kitchens)

Blue and green --- cool colours, sea .. etc ( can be used in toilets and bedrooms )

Brown -- Royalty, wood appearance .. rich look ..

Another point to b considered is u follow a theme .. the colours of paints shouldn't b da same on all 4 sides of the wall .. those r old styles .. Mayb 3 in one colour & another 1 in different colour .. I'll tell u an example of how to use it .. For e.g. if in a bedroom .. The three sides of the wall would be in light orange .. Only on the one side of the wall paint it as DArk orange / red ,. this would giv emphasis .. mayb a tv or a important thing on tat side of the wall .. dis would inturn make the persons look towards it !!

These themes would not make u'r house interesting but also make u'r house unique and different from other ..
