  1. Spring (trees) through summer (flowers). I guess there are more flowers than trees, but then a tree has more than one flower, so i'd go for spring. The seeding occurs from early summer onwards (flowers), and seed formation is different for different plants. Some fruit is borne by the wind, some gets eaten, some falls to the ground (and gets eaten), some stays on till next spring.
