Which tissue fills spaces inside a plant stem?

i thought it was parenchyma, but now i think it is sclerenchyma!

i really need this for a test, so any help wud be appreciated!

parenchyma...they are cells thats storenutrients and where metabolic processes occur....kind of like "the stuffing" of something

and sclerenchyma are tough, strong cells used for protection mostly. like "the skin" of something
