  1. actually , one of the richest sources % of total protein-wise is the red blood cell. Catalase reacts with hydrogen peroxide to produce O2 and water. Peroxide is formed from superoxide ( coming from one electron reduction of O2 ) via superoxide dismutase. Catalase is also found in high concentration in the liver, and to lesser extent in other metabolically active tissues.

    do you have to choose one of those?

    In principle all organs of plants and animals contain catalase, but it appears in higher concentration in liver.
