Which to Pokemon to buy - GBA or DS?

Question

I am looking to get some new Pokemon games. I already own a Game Boy Advance but no games. I was looking at the DS games and was wondering which set to purchase. I can't decide and am looking for help. Thanks.

DS Pokemon is so much better. You're able to battle online.

DS is way better i mean come on with diamond or pearl you can get all 493 pokemon.

so why would you even concider the GBA games.

Depends on what ur budget is and how into pokemon you are. I got saphire and i didnt like it. I loved pokemon gold, and all the originals so maybe it was the new pokemons i didnt like. Couple of my friends got pearl for the ds, and are in love with it. already put in about 100 hours. If you like the original pokemon games and keep up to date with all new-ish (not really new now) pokemon from saphire, go with advanced. but if u want a new expeirince, go with pearl for the ds.

Then again, you could always just get Leaf green or the other one for the advance. its just a remake of the orignal red and blue versions. hope i helped

Pokemon Pearl or Diamond on DS. or Saphire or Emerald or Ruby on Gameboy. Great thing about the DS is u can use ur gameboy pokemon games with the DS games and catch other pokemon that u wouldn't be able to before.(sorry, did that make sense?)
