I used to have a Fiat Uno.  When I told my garage I was thinking of getting a Nissan Micra, they said 'Oh we'll never see you then, cos they don't go wrong.'

Both cars are very good however if you are looking at 05 Micra Auto I would choose to buy it. Not only is the Nissan Micra a favourite in the UK and all of Europe making repairs easy with plenty of available parts, but it is favoured by 'older' generations which makes insurance a bit softer than the Yaris. Why do you want an 05 Micra (£4750-£6000) rather than 01 Micra (£1995-£2495) and Vice Versa (05 Yaris £4995-£6000 and 01 Yaris (£1750-£2395)?

They are both very good cars. I wouldn't know which to choose.

You cant beat Nissan or Toyota.
