Which to get? Epiphone SG G-400 with EMG's OR with Humbuckers

Question

I play hard rock,punk,alternative,metal,pop,classic rock, and some other stuff. I will definetly buy form musician's friend because i have delt with them many times before.

It's a taste thing like chocolate & strawberry.

As a guitarist and professional musician I'd go with the EMG's, but I've known alot that swear by Humbuckers. Go to your local music store and try out different guitars with these pickups then make your decision... there is no right answer here except whats right for you.

standard humbuckers are alot more versatile, and probably a bit cheaper too.

the mroe mordern metal tones are what the emg's are made for. standard humbuckers were very popular in the era of classic rock. your call man
