  2. Yellow ones are lower in acid.  The downside is

    they don't stain as much when you throw them at

    old people.  You gotta take the good with the bad,

    I guess.

  3. If you go to the store and try to find yellow tomatoes, they have a lower acidity. If you can't find them in the store you may have to plant them yourself or look at a farmers market.:)

  4. You must have been away at some kind of re-education camp. When are you going to start posting Qs about zombie tomatoes that have bad teeth because they don't floss?

  5. yellow ones, but they are still acidic.

    as for tom. substitutes, I don't know.  There are tom something is a ton of things.  replacements:sun dried ones or roasted peppers.
