Which tour company to use for tours in cancun? ?

what tours company would you recommend to use for some ot the sites in cancun - xelha and chicken itza? everyone is so expensive, should we try to use public transp to get there?

on Trip advisor they mention that there is a bus that goes to chicken itza - am going to check it out myself when I get there - and shop around for the best tour operators too
