  1. Don't forget that Ohio Central was just purchased by Genesee & Wyoming, thus its steam program is now in limbo.  There are so many great ones out there that it's tough to name just one; Cass, Durango & Silverton, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic, Strasburg, White Pass & Yukon Route, etc. (And, of course, don't forget Union Pacific's steam program.)

  2. I have have rode the Silverton and Strasburg, so I say the Silverton.

    Is EBT still running?

  3. You neglected Cass Scenic and Gettysburg tour Railroads. Since I only have two to compare and they were 40 years apart it's a tough contest. I lived 30 minutes from Stasburg for many years and have ridden it twice. My wife and I went to Cass for the Halloween train so it was a different animal all together.

  4. If you love trains, the answer is all of them, and do not forget Steamtown U.S.A. in Scranton,PA. Top notch exhibits and they run steam excursions.
